Since K1 HOLDING was founded in 2016, we have been successfully designing and realising investment properties for private and institutional investors. Our range of services covers the entire value chain – from acquisition to sustainable, value-enhancing asset and property management through to sales. With the founding of K1 HOLDING in Luxembourg, we also simultaneously opened our office in Mannheim. We are active regionally, nationally and in other German-speaking countries. We acquire and develop high-end real estate projects and offer attractive investment opportunities.

Axel Rust
Director . Managing Director
Axel Rust has 24 years of experience in auditing and financial services in Luxembourg. He previously worked for nine years in treasury asset-liability management at a French and two German banks, where he actively managed the banks’ risk positions. Since 2006 Axel has been qualified as a chartered accountant in Luxembourg and specialises in financial engineering and taxation.
He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Cologne and an MBA in Operational Research and Quantitative Methods from the University of Louvain-la-Neuve. Axel is fluent in German, English and French. In his spare time, he devotes himself to his family, which includes his two sons.
Ömer Nohut is Head of German Operations at K1 Holding Luxembourg SA, an investment company with predominantly institutional investors. From 2017 to 2019, he managed the K1 Karree Mannheim project as Managing Director and Initiator.
Prior to this, he worked as an investment manager and project consultant in Mannheim from 2014 to 2017, where he was responsible for project development and management as well as asset management. In 2004, Nohut founded a facility management company, which he successfully grew to over 1,000 employees by 2015 before selling it to international investors.

Jochen D. Müller
Architect . Managing Director
Jochen D. Müller is responsible for the technical and commercial management of our property development projects. He has led the construction and conversion of K1 Karree Mannheim since 2017. Prior to this, he was in charge of business development at a medium-sized facility management company, where he significantly expanded the company’s turnover and range of services. He began his career in 2005 as a consultant in a strategic sales, marketing and pricing company, where he managed international projects in Australia, Singapore, India and Europe.
Jochen D. Müller studied architecture and industrial engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt and also has an interest in philosophy and literature.
